ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Dr Rodriguez is a Scientist-Astronaut, former crew Health Officer Mars Analogue Mission and former Scholar Researcher at NASA Ames – Fatigue Countermeasures Laboratory.

Dr Rodriguez currently is a Neuroradiology Reg at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and Clinician (Fellow) at the University of Melbourne (lecture).

Dr Rodriguez academic background includes MBBS, BachEcon, Master in Space Studies, Master Psych (Y3) and Pilot training.

Areas of research interests are neuroradiology, fatigue & sleep studies, neuropsychiatry aspects in space -analogue missions, parabolic flight & low orbital flights.
